Garden Club Activity: Rededication of WWII Memorial Stone
Saturday April 5th, 2:30 PM
Location: Edwardsville City Park, Edwardsville, IL 62025
Program: Eighty years to the day after the Edwardsville Garden Club dedicated a memorial plaque to the City's fallen World War II service members, the plaque will be rededicated and relocated during a public ceremony in City Park.
The event is outdoors and will take place rain or shine. Please bring your own chairs.
Edwardsville Garden Club April Meeting
Saturday April 12th, Noon
Location: St. Boniface Catholic Church, 110 N Buchanan St., Edwardsville, IL 62025. Please go to the basement entrance with a black awning. The steps will take you downstairs to the meeting room.
Program: Education Garden Project Nica. Kelly Wilheim, Project Co-ordinator for Project Nica will be describing the work of her non-profit organization. Project Nica helps improve the lives of Nicaraguans by increasing knowledge about nutrition and gardening. Volunteers demonstrate a variety of skills and maintain teaching gardens.
Edwardsville Garden Club Fieldtrip: Kirkwood Farmer's Market
Saturday Apri 26th, meet at 9:00 AM
Location: 150 E. Argonne, Kirkwood, MO 63122
We will be leaving the Walmart parking lot at 9:00 AM. Lunch location will be decided by the group on the day of the fieldtrip. For more information, call Pam Baker.
Edwardsville Garden Club Annual Spring Plant Sale
Saturday May 3rd, 8AM-Noon
Location: St. Mary's Church Parking Lot. 1802 Madison Ave, Edwardsville, IL 62025
Join us and begin your garden with new plants from EGC members. The spring sale is our largests and has a wide variety of plants We usually have a selection of unique annuals, vegetable starts, and bulbs & rhizomes. Most items are grown by EGC members. A general business meeting will follow the sale.
